    Something I’ve been struggling with is the just the amount of information I come across because of the algorithm on social media. I don’t know what’s best, sometimes I see the idea of ‘functional training’ being the best, or sometimes the low stress workout being best in order to reduce inflammation and bloating, sometimes it’s doing ‘deep core’ exercises to get the snatched waist, eating as a carnivore, or intermittent fasting, ketogenic… and so on and so forth. It’s just endless and when it comes to training it’s confusing cuz I just don’t know who to listen to. Many people have anecdotes of success, like who do I listen to? 💀

    Just a little shout out here, because this program really works! I have been eating at a maintenance level and working out 5-6 days a week, all using April’s program, and I just measured myself today and am down 3 inches across my hips!!

    I’m 5,3 and I strength train and run daily. I loooooove it and healthy strict diet and I’m good. I weigh 130 and size 4 jeans . Measuring. 34- 26-39 Works for me

    Being able to accurately guess grams and calories by sight was my toxic trait during the height of my eating disorder. Fortunately I can’t anymore and rely completely on intuitive eating. That took ten years. I wish you well and I find your fitness videos helpful as a fellow petite but this to me is not a flex.

    I'm so glad I found you, April! I have never seen content like this for the petite woman and I love that you base it on science. The one thing I will say about the comment at the end is that person also showed they've never done anything like run their own business. It was actually a very ignorant sounding comment. I can tell you that you're simply on another level than people like that.

      Honestly, it's probably going to be the same. Everyone can benefit from weightlifting. And you would definitely need more than 1200 calories! It's just that her content is specifically for short women :)

    oh my, i resonate with this? I'm 5'3" and i have been trying to lose some fat for the last month and i don't notice any change at all. Maybe a month is too soon to tell a difference, but I'm glad I came across your video because i see this as a sign to not give up. :)

      It took me 3 months to start seeing results. Lifting is definitely a patience equals reward lifestyle. Just make sure to keep your diet in check with atleast 100g protein and a healthy amount of calories, no extreme restricting! Also, progressively overloading your lifts really helps!

      I like doing barre, using ankle weights while doing Pilates/body weight exercises, lots of walking and using machines at the gym(not going higher than 30 pounds though) bc I don’t love the bulky look
